Day 42: Repeating a Sequence of Numbers

Here is another learning activity adapted from our “Home Preschool Curriculum” developed by Fran Wisniewski and Diane Flynn Keith for UniversalPreschool.com.

Remember, only do these learning activities if they are enjoyable for you and your child. Do not treat this as a “must do” lesson. It’s simply a fun activity that provides an opportunity to learn, while building “readiness skills” for the school or homeschool environment.

~ Repeating a Sequence of Numbers ~

Count to 20 with your child.

Teach your child how to count by 2’s, 5’s and 10’s.

Sing Counting Songs!

Learn “One, Two, Buckle My Shoe” and print out a matching Rebus Rhyme.

Teach your child his/her own street address and phone number. Try setting this information to a familiar tune to help your child remember it. Don’t forget to include the area code when you teach a phone number.
