Day 286: Bottle Cap Concentration

This fun game will help boost your child’s memory skills. You’ll need:

  • 24 bottle caps (We use the caps from 46 ounce Juicy Juice bottles. Whatever kind of bottle caps you use they should all look exactly the same.)
  • 12 pairs of matching stickers

Take 24 bottle caps of the same design/color and place the stickers on the under-side of each bottle cap. Then, place the caps, sticker side down, on the table in even rows. Take turns turning two caps over at a time to try and make a match. If no match is made, turn the caps back over and let the next player take a turn. If a match is made, the player takes the matching caps and gets another turn. Count the matches made by each player. The player with the most matches wins. If your child is new to memory/concentration games, start with 3-6 matches and add more as you go along.
